Re: Hunger/Thirst
Hunger and thirst seem to build up insanely fast. I'm having trouble actually keeping enough liquid around for a PC.

Re: Trust
Am droll. Honestly? Kory and Risthe's posts are actually exactly how I would handle it. Make a staff post, putting out a call for something. Keep said role in line with everything else. Exactly as we would looking for the infirmary replacement. Seems like the simplest way to handle it, my opinion. Y...

Re: Trust
Am I offended? No, just bringing up points that others have already voiced. As Songweaver has said, you've got a player base in a game that has had some very shady staff problems over the last 10 plus years. Ignoring the pitfalls that Kite, Rhubarb, Shadow, etc/etc fell into while staffing is danger...

stuff Why? To keep the posts from getting extremely long since I was posting a wall. But good job with the deflection on everything said on every paragraph you made in that post. Mediocre. I like that Bones showed up as an example of why we all STILL don't trust Staff without reason, but can we not...

stuff.. I've been mostly avoiding chiming in. Look, a lot of this, is entirely missing the point. No one is mad that Brian got to be an elf. The problem is, that every last person who asked when the game opened was told that no, we won't be allowed to use our RPP from old SOI. It doesn't matter who...

You know the following admin crafts:
mine iron-ore
This replaced the craft to start iron ingots, making iron ingots impossible to make now.
Probably should not have access to an admin craft either

Re: Is it time to consolidate?
I haven't seen more than 10 on when I've poked around, recently, no matter the time of day. I've seen as few as 1 on (myself), with an average of between 4-8. You've been afk a while too. Shortly after that sweet little PVP scrap, numbers were down across the board. Few of the more proactive ones w...

-Skills have no per-requisites in it. I was able to choose education and long-sword no problem. I didn't submit the application though to see if it'd go through. A. Pre-requisites exist. For Education you have the requisite rpp needed. And yes, Long-Blade can be selected off the batt. I don't reall...

No, it's just a 1 item limit per month.radioactivejesus wrote:can staff clarify on whether it's 1 month added to your craft timer, or just a limit of 1 custom craft per month? From what I read, I'm assuming it's the latter, Droll, and you can get started on making custom crafts right away

Re: Master Crafting Policy - New!
No, that's what she is saying. I don't even have a problem with it either, honestly. We need more standard stuff IG, especially in the 'will be used by players' department. The problem is the initial cost of the craft. If we have 2 bathtub makers, both will have to pay 5 to 8 gold to make their nice...

Well that's a whole lot of encouragement to spend gold and 30 day timers on making one of these crafts isn't it?

Re: Paying RPP for Stat Boosts
I am in favour of people being able to do a 1 time deal, where they spend RPP to get a mixture of stat boosts and debuffs, like how we do it for newly created characters with RPP. Right now players are able to game the system to roll 8 presence, luck out and end up with 93 total stat points, and en...

Re: Riveted Coifs
I never would have guessed what a coif is. I feel enlightened. This is the rough set of mail: Chausses, Gauntlets, Hauberk, Helm. This is riveted: Chausses, Gauntlets, Hauberk, Coif. We used to have rough coifs and spangehelms. Now all we have is the helm. They got taken out of the game, presumably ...

Riveted Coifs
These need to go the way of the old coifs and get replaced by a new type of helm. They have no eye protection. <*** / ^^^^^^ / |||||| / DELAY:0 PD:0 SD:0> It is a pitted-bog-iron, riveted, mail coif. It will cover the head, and partially cover the neck. In the meantime, I recommend that no one give ...

Re: Armor/Weapon Overhaul - Feedback
1. Thank god for the endurance or whatever its called on mail going up. It was frankly kind of ridiculous having worn stuff after a single spar. 2. I'll echo Radio here: swords and hammers shouldn't be doing the same damage against chain mail. Hammers should remain the no brainer against chain mail....

Re: Suggestions
Also, I don't really know what you're talking about when you say everyone demands oiled leather right out of chargen. I know my character spent quite a few in-game months wearing plain old leathers. Refined iron mail or nothing, I say. We do need more armorers and weaponsmiths though. You figure th...

I'll completely disable dual wielding, how about that :-) Muh build too stronk! I'm ok with that though, just get those bigger shields out quick. :P Also, after some, uh, testing, I don't think there is nothing wrong with layering. Popping mods through mail and oiled with practice weapons seems rea...

Would love this as well. Just because as it currently stands, there is 0 reason to actually be a shield man. The starter shields just don't give any benefit, deflect wise. You are better off with a second weapon out.

Re: [Feedback Request] Current Armor & Weapons
I don't really have an opinion on concussion vs bleeding, but the weapon speeds in game bug me. For some reason short swords and long swords attack at the same speed. Both are slower than axes and hammers, which really doesn't make any sense. They should be faster than top heavy weapons like that. S...
