Re: Object Adjustments
This solid, $woodcolor chest has been carved from planks of $woodtype wood. Simple lines have been sanded down and the top is able to be closed to keep the contents from prying eyes, fastened to be adjustable with pocked bog iron hinges. ^ Doesn't close. I truly feel chests ought to close as well. ...

I would hope it has -some- timer attached to it and isn't completely removed.. You don't even have a chance to fail to apply a decoration so far as I'm aware. If it takes a half hour to cook a steak it should probably take some time to finely etch a detailed scene with talented skill of wizards wiel...

I did write a up document called "Talking Tolkien" and it isn't on the wiki yet I don't think. Just a brief vocabulary help file geared for new players or those not familiar with the language style. It could probably stand to be fleshed out, in regards to swearing and modern language substitutions i...

This is your opening, poor level metal helm craft. It even has eye protection. Cherish it.
I recommend a groin plate for the next one.
It's literally the only two armors we need. xD

All the autologging, highlighting etc is very easy to use and it's easy to customise to your own preferred set up. I haven't used anything else since Icarus recommended it years ago.

Re: leatherworking and you
I expect that an expert leatherworker would be able to tell at least in some cases. A common convention here seems to be that cow leather is very tough and sheep skin is much softer, which, if such differences exist in game, ought to be readily visible to anyone who knows what they're doing. Indeed...

Ahh.. I thought they mentioned it in relation to trying to combine scraps of leather to craft something, as I thought it was suggested that scraps might have to be of the same color -and- animal type to work.
Oh yes. I agree that you shouldn't be able to tell what type of animal it came from ICly.

I think its weird that any average joe can tell what animal the leather came from to begin with. There isn't like. Fur on it.. It's..
