Re: Object Adjustments

Tanning (fur) pelts need to be take-able. Scudding produces tanning skins that can get picked up to prevent stealing by other players until the morph timer has run its course, but the tanning furry pelts can't be. At least, for the medium sized ones. I haven't verified for small or large. Produced b...

Re: Broken Crafts

All right, going to make a note of this in the quality thread, but I think we can officially add the segmented-leather-gauntlets craft to the broken crafts list. 10. No joke, 10, in a row, have come out novice. When you say "in a row" do you mean, running the craft one after the other? I've noticed...

Re: Crafting Requests

You can now cut large and medium squares down to smalls. Could we make this also cut large/medium oiled squares instead of only the standard squares? This would be especially helpful since the small oiled squares have been decaying on me within minutes (haven't tried it lately though). I could cut ...

Re: Crafting Requests

Is there some reason the make oiled-leather-gloves craft requires four small squares of leather? Wouldn't it be just as good to use a medium and a small, or partially consume two mediums (four uses of leather which would consume one and part of another), or even just four general uses of the kind o...

Re: Broken Crafts

In the vein of the crazy oodcolor objects, "suede-shoe" is also doing the same. Pleased with your work, you draw a pale, boar leather lace through the holes on the vamp, allowing the future wearer to tighten the shoes on their feet. You set aside a pair of eathercolor suede shoes. Edited to add: Eve...

Re: Broken Crafts

For the leather dye crafts, can you just verify the soap usage?

Code: Select all

Held or in Room (Consumed): 2 of a bar of unscented, lye-and-tallow soap.
Is that right? Two entire bars of soap, not partially consumed?

Re: Broken Crafts

I noticed now that on top of a "leatherworking" craft set, there is now "leathercrafting" with one craft. I'm assuming (hoping) this was a mistake and that the craft ought to be in leatherworking. But the craft is also incomplete. > craft leathercrafting You know the following leathercrafting crafts...

Ok, I'm hoping this isn't because I made them with wonky suede. Re: Object Adjustments

They are a single use item. The new dyecrafts have only just been added with more to come. This makes sense to me when using a whole half-gallon of color to color a whole bushel of wool. But to use that much for a small square of leather seems excessive. I think I understand why it would say "parti...

Re: Broken Crafts

Fixed the hardened-leather-helm craft. It should now carry over variables as intended. Segmented-leather-gauntlets seems to be having the same variable issue. Should be corrected on the next PP reboot. Seems the gauntlets aren't quite fixed. You begin laying out a medium, pale square of boiled leat...

ETA: I have noticed that the shoddy make comes out regularly with certain object, where as others have not seen a single shoddy make... Fact or Myth??? The first part is fact. I don't know about the others NEVER seeing shoddy. But yes, some objects may not be fully converted with the quality scripts.

Can't remember if I reported this already. But hardened leather helms need to have eye protection.
