Re: Trust

I'm not angry at all. Good try though. At the moment you're simply trying to pick a fight, and I'll happily oblige you if you -really- want to get into one. A number of the players on this forum posting about 'it's not fair sekrit sekrit' might not have had access to that 'secret invite role' from ...

You should also understand that if you're going to battle with [weapons] there is a coded chance that you might be struck with a critical hit that will outright kill you. The gamble! The excitement! That's why PVP is such an amazing aspect of this game. Really gets your heart rate up! This is an ad...

It should still exist. It might explode something, though, since I think it called eye color and I don't believe the present chargen assigns eye color? Go study someone and report back if the game crashes.

Re: Embarrassing

A word is a word, is a word, is a frelling word. NO ONE was offended by the term, at all, orc-side. Banning it was completely and utterly silly, and it just goes to show how little respect the Orc Sphere gets. Are we going to ban beheading next? Maybe turn blood into slime, too. Are we no longer al...

Re: Embarrassing

Someone mentioned you can't use the term slit anymore. If that's true can I ask why? My mind is blown, this mud is 18 plus and the slur is completely fictional. It was invented by soi and has never been a problem over the years of orc spheres. If there is an admin in charge of the orcs that gets of...

A piece of shit Saturn. I hate driving, and almost never drive anywhere, so have no inclination to buy something nicer. I spend the money I save on car payments to have an Uber take me where I need to go. :P

Re: Webpage Weirdness

It's my workaround for firewalls. You can direct your client to port 80 instead of 4500 in case 4500 is blocked. Apparently your browsers don't default to prefixing www like my chrome does, since I had to put effort into going to the non-www version of the URL (manually typing http://middle...etc)....

Not sure if to be proud or upset I didn't make the list. :| 363rd. Enjoy having had a life. The density graphs were the worst. The top people spend 30-40% PER WEEK EACH WEEK FOR THE PAST YEAR average online. Granted I'm sure some idling was involved, but dang. Heh. None of my PCs are on the list, b...

Staff is always going to need a private place to discuss players. By opening up pfiles, you're just moving those private notes somewhere else and not doing anything from stopping the sorts of players who are conspiracy theory'ing from doing so.

Re: New Command: Remember

There are two primary reasons, in my unprivileged opinion, this won't ever be implemented: 1) The people it annoys are far more greatly annoyed by it than the lives of those who like it are improved by it. 2) The game only has one active developer-contributor, who is Nimrod. His time is far more val...

I bet the main quest in 15 hours, but still have plenty of side stuff to do. And even if I'd finished every sidequest, the game is open-ended enough to give you plenty of self-motivated achievements to go after. Maybe I'm getting old, but I like actually getting to finish games I play without them r...

Glad to hear such, I've been watching it on and off. Heard the Studio actually had a lawsuit about nigh identical character movement or some such. How is the freeform/sandbox aspect of it? Shadow of Mordor

Anyone else playing this? It's pretty ridiculously amazing. Assassin's Creed: Middle-Earth When I first heard of it, I was pretty eye-rolly about its apparent treatment of canon, but honestly its by far the richest interpretation of Lord of the Rings that's been released in video game form. It's not...

I'm watching this new thread with much greater interest than the old one, so kudos to everyone for remaining primarily constructive this time around. Re: Gentler RPA Suggestion

- I don't think that super-hero/villain NPCs should have stats/skills that are higher than what can be obtained by PCs. In Atonement, skillcaps were significantly higher, and higher-level combatants existed than can ever exist in the SOI adaptation of this engine. Heroic/Legendary combat skill leve...
