Utterby RPP Roles

Here's is our first introduction of RPP Roles for folks in Utterby, currently, these are -not- coded with chargen, so you'll need to note in your background you are taking this role and your skill choices so a staffer can set you up accordingly. These roles will check that you have 1 RPP, but will n...

Re: Utterby Wish List

Miss the fireplace in the main room at the Inn. Could that be returned, please? I removed that as to prevent people sitting in the main RP hot spot burning meat all night. ;) So if one was re added it wouldn't be for cooking with. As to the kitchen in the Inn, I think there's a difference between n...

Re: Broken Crafts

Yes, we are currently trying to fix some issues with some of the variables in the new butchering crafts, we tried to simply things today (it was my idea :? ) and it seems to have had some unintended hiccups, so we are trying to fix them.

Or we could write him up the bigger, fancier, more magical, and more heroic stories he'd need to become a true counterpart to Finn McCool. Re: Ongull Adasson

I've got to be totally honest, nothing kills my excitement and creativity more than "sorry but this all sucks" posts. People have requested cultural frameworks, but this leaves me concerned everything will meet with the same reaction. In which case, I'll just crawl back to my cave and write more cra...

Ongull Adasson

For those PCs who stem from Laketown, or for those folks who are indeed looking to connect to an idea of a larger shared cultural framework - I've posted this up to the wiki. https://shadowsofisildur.atlassian.net/wiki/display/PW/Ongull+Adasson I actually wrote this almost a year ago, and I suppose ...

Re: Dual armor

Do we have a more specific example?

As wearing a leather vest over a gambeson, for example, I wouldn't personally have an issue with. Two hauberks though, yeah, that's a bit weird. ;)

Re: Starting skill levels & combat skillgains

I wonder if part of the issue is less the death rate and more ... people find all the bodies. Death happened on a rather consistent basis outside the gates of both Osgiliath and Angost to PvP and wildlife (including moose and not even discussing things like trogs.) But those wilderness areas were la...

Boar fat isn't directly usable in it's raw form like gamebird fat. However - you'll see a new fat alternative to that gamebird fat after the next reboot.

To go with Nailah's glorious new butchering crafts above - I made the first cooking craft that utilizes a product from them. :D prepare fishermans-brewis What is brewis you ask? Smells, Washing, and You

For humans at least - you'll soon find soap for sale. :D This soap is usable with the general craft lather lye-soap Said craft contains secret magics which will indeed, remove any lingering smells clinging to your PC. Now that the ability to remove said smells is live and well, expect indeed to find...

Re: Farming? Handling??

Wait, are we stating that we can request to exchange Handling or Farming with a different skill? Like leatherworking?

Thanks!!
If it makes sense for your PC's background, otherwise, your background might need to be tweaked.

Right now, obviously, we are focusing on fixing playability issues and crashes so this isn't a priority likely for some time. Again, I know this isn't easy, and likely isn't a priority right now, but I would really like it if somebody tried to take a wrench to the forums and either change them to so...
