Re: Orc Play!

Here's an idea... the ability to be a 'roaming' tribe. It seems unlike a relatively small band of orcs to stay in one place very long. Crafts to build all the necessary crafting items for armor/weapons and things similar to the building crafts in Parallel would be neat. Those dirty humies struck ba...

I would like to second this, after going straight through chargen the will and effort to then begin to play has been heavily sapped.

Re: An RPP system with increased granularity

Perhaps a system where a quota is to be distributed per week? Perhaps to get people on the first step of the ladder (arguably the hardest step) one could be given after 50 hours of accrued gameplay? Another idea would be to have staff play a little bit fast and loose. Perhaps with the idea that ever...

Re: Suggestion: Message Boards and Minstrels

With a good and strong culture of roleplaying all of these could very easily become reality. I'm all for this sort of social roleplay, set apart from combat and crafting. But beyond the sigil (which is very cool) all of these would be the responsibility of the playerbase to enforce. If we set up the...

Re: Code workings

The below is certainly common knowledge for anyone who played Atonement, but I've tried to keep it vague . And a whole other mess Partly the reason I bring this up is the highlighted above, what people do gain the information share it among their little group. Though again the biggest problem is kn...

Code workings

One thing that I noticed has been quite rampant on other games is the way the code works, what exactly works well with what and what is pointless. I believe this came from players that became staff or the reverse. Either way this did wonders to shatter immersion and roleplay for a lot of people. Is ...

Re: Playable Wargs - Opinions/Thoughts

I remember on Arm if you owned a slave NPC you were allowed to basically play it when in the room, using 'command'. That would be cool with wargs, but as entire autonomous PCs I think they're just too alien and unable to add enough to the game. I would agree with Throttle, there is just too little ...

Re: Alpha Play!

I believe charcoal was most important historically as a fuel source for industrial processes. It was the primary fuel source for all iron smelting and forge working, so there would indeed be a large demand for it, though it can be made wherever there are trees. Yes... I can imagine sending it as a ...

Might we have something similar to the bards and storytellers too? Also, on the related note with the carpentry, where this is an abundance of timber there is also an abundance of charcoal manufacturing!

People say listen to music all the time, I really do. I could listen to prog rock for the rest of my life. That and reading old fiction. Also, drinking! Busch might not be the worst beer in the world, but it is damn near close to it.

Re: General Questions for Laketown

I concur, the multiple directions during the last edition of the game was incredibly unintuitive. Is there any chance we can get this reverted to the NSEWUD. Anything more than that is just too much information to process at any given time. Exist becomes a huge block of text as does the readout on t...
