so how exactly do these new specializations work? Would a sword-smith be able to make and sell any type of weapon, and just receive a bonus to the selling of swords? Or would he only be permitted to sell swords with the new AU laws, and be unable to market say a mace or a dagger.
A really bad sword with a short blade lies here.

This sword hardly even a sword. It's kind of really just a piece of metal bent like a sword. Its blade is rather short. Kind of pathetic, really.

A sword-smith can only sell swords. He can barter a mace to a PC good for good, not for coin. Business can be cutthroat so a Weaponsmith might get pissy if you are excessively bartering in their realm and might go to the AU. Why is it like this? Because this offers a more tangible way to have a blackmarket. Want to sell 20 pelts but have a Wheeler License? Okay. Do it on the downlow because if you're caught by the AU, you can get fined or lose your License.

This is why we ask License holders to let us know what they sell PC to PC so we can track things and like stated in the docs, not all bad comes. Plots might open up for the skeevies working life into a blackmarket.
