Is SoI still open to all players

Post by LuckyV » Wed Aug 24, 2016 11:21 am

So the question is quite simple. Is SoI still open to all players or has this become a game for a certain group only?

While this may seem like a weird question (or at least it is weird to have to ask it) it is very strange to see Forums where no discussions are allowed for players. And when you look for information about the game and find a player who has already asked some important questions for a player thinking to try the game out - those questions get shut with a "Find out IC" reply.

So are all players welcome and where can players who are wondering whether to give this game a try find out more info about it?

Shadows of Isildur;Laketown is not unlike many other RPIs out there where we put an emphasis on roleplay. That said, when something in an OOC capacity is asked of something that should be found out organically by their character and not necessarily used in terms of all-knowing such as a character stepping in knowing things they ought not to, honestly.

You are, I am assuming, referring to the query post made by Songweaver some months ago now and my sentiments still stand in those answers. There are things to do with the game that should be learned as organically as possible for the enjoyment of everyone's immersion such as present conflicts, plots, etc. One does not simply walk into Mordor and asks what's up.

The forums are open to use of RPTs and access to clan documentation. The forums are not presently used for discussion. Feedback is always welcome using HELP SUPPORT.

Its been a few weeks shy of two years since you last logged in, I would suggest logging in and seeing what great things have come into fruitation in your absence as well as check out the Wiki as we have a number of new races, areas and roles available. We have a wide breadth of different types of players playing the game and new accounts made consistently with the new characters joining Alpha.
