Arcade games

Post by Meneldor » Wed Nov 26, 2014 11:17 pm

Hi all,

Does anyone have an idea on what gaming system would be best for being able to play the old arcade type games?

i.e.:
Pacman
Ms Pacman
Donkey Kong
Qbert
Frogger
Galaga
etc.

My old Coleco and Atari?
A small, shell-grey-eyed male begins to flicker and flash, turning to a red color as such happens. Without warning, a slim, silver-hilted lightsaber hilt ignites with a ruby-hued length. "Incorrect. I am programmed for queries, not pleasure."

Get a modded xbox, you'll have your pick from thousands of games.

Non-internet based. The wife doesn't want to have to sit at the computer to play.

I don't currently have any type of game system (xbox, atari, etc) and wasn't sure if one of them had the older arcade type games readily available.

Lots of good tutorials to turn a Raspberry Pi into a neat mini cabinet.
