I agree; Argentina has looked vulnerable so far. In fact, based on the matches seen so far I'd say there are cracks in every of the remaining teams. Brazil has looked shaky, Germany and France were both up against it in their quarters, Holland barely pulled away a win...I'd say if anything the best looking team at the moment is Columbia!

I've finally come crawling out of mourning to begrudgingly extend all of my World Cup energy cheering for whoever beats Belgium and Germany.

Go Dutch. I guess.

I'm still sad. RIP USA. I still love you.

I'm going all out for the 4th tomorrow because of this. 'Merican flag sunglasses. 'Merican flag shirt. 'Merican flag shorts. Tiny 'Merican flag stapled to what I can only describe as a chopstick. Camo ball cap (because I don't have a 'Merica one and camo = 'Merica in Alabamaland.)

...'Merica!

I'm coping. This is how I cope.

I'll have someone document it before I'm too many bottles deep.

If you're expecting me to want to see you in 'Merican flag shorts, think again.

Patriotism: off the charts.
Southern stereotypes: well intact.

Photo evidence: here, as promised. Sorry about the size. Hard to do from a phone.

You're the hottest female Tolkien fan I've ever seen. You ever head over to Texas, look me up and I'll welcome you to the country. ;)

Speaking of hot Tolkien fans - whatever happened to Aldebaran?

Because freedom is serious business.

(I was just goofin'.)

My hubs is super hot. I'll show him off when I'm not on a phone!

As far as country goes... I grew up working on a farm in pseudo-rural Alabama. And my mom is from Texas. War Damn.

Yeeeesss, Holland! It would have been a travesty if Costa Rica went through after the way they were dominated.

Duuuuutch! (Still sad.)

It is a hummingbird feeder, yeah! I'm at my parents' place for the weekend and they have about 10 of them around the back yard.

Well, that triggers some [southern] childhood nostalgia! I had a pair of grandparents with a very similar feeder just outside their kitchen window, in North Georgia.

:D
