Artistry

Post by Matt » Mon Jun 16, 2014 10:00 am

Can someone outline what exactly it does? I know decorate and for high level crafts. Singing? Musical instruments?

Making lutes or something similar with artistry would be cool. Though it would probably have to be a high level like, woodcraft+artistry combo.

Straight artistry crafts though.. That probably should have a thread in the craft section now that I think of it.

But I too am really curious about artistry, since it's one of those 'dump' skills right now, like gardening, with no coded tools/effects in game yet.

This is the -one- craft I've found that uses artistry. My assumption is it takes those ugly old dirty weapons of yours and polishes them like new.. but that's all I can figure.

What kind of Artistry 'tools' exist in SOI? Like.. chisels? ..Etching.. sets? Paint? Ink? Embroidery kits? Whittling knives?

Are they set to only work on specific materials or goods?

I have like no experience with this part of the code but good gravy does it make giddy and also want to somehow get a PC to legendary artistry so I can do that concept of an angry warrior guy who creates the most tear-jerkingly beautiful tapestries you ever saw, stuffed in a crate for someone to find when he dies. XD

cough. Sorry rant.
