Putting this here as a placeholder for people to report wearlocs, keyword, etc. issues for objects, not crafts.

Practice shortswords can only be wielded in two hands. Greatswords are wielded in one.

It is a rusty iron cage helm.

It will cover the head.

This is a rather simple metal helm forged of old rusting iron, but satisfactorily protects the full extent of the head and lower neck. It is distinguished best not only by its brown reddish rusting color, but also by the large metallic cage portion which has been fastened on its own rusting pivots, allowing the wearer to pull it down to speak if they desire. The nose-piece of the helm sticks out in a pointed fashion.

I believe this item should also cover the eyes. As spangenhelms and all other metal helms I've seen do.

Code: Select all
You get 3 handful of crabapples from a rough, pale table with chairs.

eat craba all

That isn't food.  You can't eat it.

It is a pitted-bog-iron shovel.

You'd guess it to be a Long-Blade weapon.

You realize that you could make use of this item in the following crafts:
'fill open-grave', 'dig shallow-grave'.

You would guess that this item weighs about 6 pounds.

You judge that this item would significantly hinder your Deflect skill.

> exam satchel
It is a tan, dog leather satchel.

> l satchel
This is a medium-sized tan satchel, crafted with neat stitching from dog hide. The leather itself looks brittle in nature. A thick leather strap made from tan dog hide allows it to be slung over a shoulder. In order to ensure it can remain closed and not spill the contents, it has a pocked bog iron buckle fastening the sewn-edge flap.

> close satchel
That's impossible.

The dog leather items in general have a very ARPI feel, but this one in particular sounds like it ought to be closeable.

Code: Select all
This solid, $woodcolor chest has been carved from planks of $woodtype wood. Simple lines have been sanded down and the top is able to be closed to keep the contents from prying eyes, fastened to be adjustable with pocked bog iron hinges.

^ Doesn't close. I truly feel chests ought to close as well.

You recognise that you could wear this item in the following locations:

You would guess that this item weighs about 4 pounds.

You judge that this item would hinder your Unused skill.

Also, unlike the pquality bows, the word bow doesn't work as a keyword.

a dark reddish-brown wooden shortsword

This sword can only be wielded in two hands, which makes absolutely no sense given it's, uhh, a shortsword.

And if anyone calls stats on it I'm bonking you on the head with a cheesebun.

Here's another item whose description sounds as if it should be closeable:
a simple, natural-hued knitted pouch

The game wrote:>l pouch
This knitted pouch is natural-hued and made of a stiff, drab blend of coarse wool and linen. Made to be worn on the belt or stashed in a pack for coin or other small belongings, it has a tight weave despite the simple design, along with a threaded pull and tie string to ensure stowed items are not lost.

>close pouch
That's impossible.

Rifling through your belongings, you retrieve your chips.

Change is made, which you then deposit in a dust-stricken, black, warg
leather satchel.

Just as a note, things like this are code issues...which, while important, fall out of the purview of both this thread and what I believe Nailah can accomplish, as a craft/object person. This relies on Nimrod, and I'm not sure he checks this thread. Everything else in this thread so far checks out, though.

For example, books can be read by anyone. That's(I believe) a coded issue, rather than an object-one. Whereas, to add to the thread...

Militia armbands, and Guard armbands of rank, don't actually have a description set, unlike the armbands for members/recruits. It'd be nice if they could get a fulldescription, too.

Checked the greatsword wooden object, it's set to both hands, someone might have changed it. I can't find the darned practice shortsword anywhere, but I made the longsword one primary hand.

Armoring: sew leather-gloves
Produced: a pair of $leathercolor0, $leathercondition1 leather gloves.

In reality, it produces a pair of $leathercolor, $animalleather leather gloves.

I'd really like it to show the condition, because that just makes the most sense (in my mind) and looks the nicest. :D
