Stronghold Movement

Postby Faroukel » Tue Aug 01, 2017 11:20 am

Hiya,

Tested out stronghold movement after change.

When you relocate, you get the valid movement order message followed by the position being strong enough to move message.

You then get the message: Timestamp plus 24: 20833

What does this mean?

I have a feeling it counts down from 20000'ish in seconds down to the next move?

That six digit number is a specialized TIMESTAMP that I created for progs. It's actually the number of game hours that have passed since X.

I show the timestamp + 24 for troubleshooting reasons. What it means here is that the current timestamp is 208309 and the timestamp written to the object is 208333. (current + 24). Then, when you try to move the position again, it checks the current timestamp against the timestamp written to the object. If the current timestamp is greater than the one written you can move the position, if not, then you can't.

FYI - The number you see should ALWAYS be 6 digits. If it is not, then make sure you contact me immediately.
