That's not really a bug, just a bit of alpha roughness. The archery code is built on top of the haunted ruins of the firearms code. If it looks weird but works, just pretend.

The camp command is still Rust-flavored. It mentions the sound of sporadic firearms and tawdry whores.

Would c/p the message, but I'm on a tablet.

It might be. My last char didn't have it because I went int-high and figured I could learn it in game. Was amazed by the success rate. Including on animals like bears/deer.

The male bunkroom of the Lodge isn't a safe quit. I'm not sure about the female bunkroom.

It is a sling

You recognise that you could wear this item in the following locations:
Wield

You would guess that this item weighs less than a pound.

You junk a sling.

Note - Carrots might have a similar bug since when you eat them they leave behind carrot-top greens which may morph too.

You can skin things underwater.

Maybe this is just a feature of high-familiar butchery.

I think the water barrels should be containers. It seems weird that they're not.

I don't think an item can be both a liquid container and a regular container for objects. It's determined by their base item type.

That's the thing, it's not a liquid container. It's not any container. I'm saying it should be a liquid container.

Oh, those crafting barrels? It'll probably take some new code to get it to work, so it's up to Nimrod. It would be pretty nice if an item's 'uses' counters could interact with its other properties such as the amount of water left in a barrel or the weight of a log.

I drained the blood out of a carcass and then the carcass was gone. :/ Yes, it was a cave-rat.

Code: Select all
drain blood
Setting out a carved, deep golden wooden jar, you lift up a skinned
carcass of a cave-rat to hold over top of it.

<*****  / ^^^^^^ / ||||| >
You slice across the carcass with a bloody, rough, bog-iron knife, angling
it so that the blood seeps into the jar.

<*****  / ^^^^^^ / ||||| >

You are missing one or more items:

You need a skinned carcass of a cave-rat, a plucked $gamebird, a
squirrel carcass, a rabbit carcass, a skinned, beaver carcass, an
enormous bat carcass, a skinned hedgehog carcass, a skinned badger
carcass, a skinned, weasel carcass, a skinned carcass of a rat, a
skinned carcass of a rat, a skinned carcass of a small kid goat, a
skinned carcass of a small piglet, a skinned carcass of a small lamb, a
skinned carcass of a small kid goat, a skinned carcass of a small piglet,
or a skinned carcass of a small lamb.
The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese!!

I think you just need more than one carcass, not sure on the count.

Also for the water barrel object, I'd be happy if the clean dirty barrel craft reverted the water barrel back to a regular liquid container barrel or if the craft to make barrels just made regular barrels or both.

Crafts should be written to check upfront, though, ideally.

I'd heard this is technically fixed, but that a few people are still running around with pre-fix bows.

It is a weapon care kit.

It is in good condition.

Your training is not yet sufficient to use these materials.

Skill Required: Textilecraft
Repairs damages up to: minor in size
Used to Repair: Weapon items made from any the following: Ceramic Liquid Organic Textile Wood Preciousmetal Brick Other
Uses Remaining: Hundreds

Kits don't seem to like me :(

Oh. Why is that requiring textile?

I rejiggered them to be able to repair wooden weapons (IE, bows), and on reboot that messed up all the current instances of them IG. Nothing really to do except junk it and buy a new one.

Pelts / Carcasses seem to be changing randomly on logout etc ...

Logged out for a moment and came back to a 900 pound deer carcass.

Same thing with pelts in satchels.

Not sure if this is known or not.

Is the deflect and dual-wield skill has bug on them ? It seems that I raised my weapon skill to "Talented" from "Amateur" but the dual-wield and deflect still remain the same which is "Amateur".
