Hrm. It should be sampled, not reusable. Fixed on next reboot. :)
[Petition:***] Why is there a pretty pink pony with doe eyes and a party-balloon cutie mark in the group?

Mushrooms take, literally, 160 of them, uncooked to go from Hungry to Completely Stuffed.

This should not be. Mushrooms are pretty hearty, and full of fungusy goodness.

I mean, I know they're supposed to be cooked, but... still.

Shouldn't take 160 mushrooms.

perspective. (it's posted on Buzzfeed. It must be true! ;) )

What 2000 calories looks like

And that's your modern day average human recommended caloric intake. If you're a top notch athlete I'd quadruple the numbers. If you're a massive burly sword wielding badass... well, eat up.

Other note: I remember reading somewhere in the ancient tomes of RPI's across the times... hunger and thirst status affect things (craft success, combat success, healing rate, stat status.. is this true????)

It has always been my understanding that yes, this is true. Hence why so many people who otherwise ignore hunger and let it drop very low try to fatten themselves up all in one go before doing something important like sparring or crafting and then complain that they have to eat a billion pieces of food at a time to get full. I may be off base, but in my experience, if you eat somewhat regularly it doesn't take a ridiculous amount of cooked food to maintain fullness.

At roughly 640-800 calories for 160, mushrooms are a particularly low-calorie food, but higher-calorie raw foods like crabapples behave similarly.

Edit: Are we talking individual mushrooms or handsfuls? Because 160 handsfuls is too much by any metric.
