The morph is screwy.

Fixed.

Also, I'm stripping out "refine bog-iron-ingot". This craft wasn't working properly because cprog capabilities are off. I have a workaround in mind for everyone. You'll have to wait until I write them up though.

smelt bog-iron put in for now. Easiest solution for everyone to get bog-iron as of now. Mind the difficulty.

I feel like poor-weaponcrafting weapons aren't always better then the old nicked stuff.

Which is agitating, since I just got an exceptional weapon, it's /worse/ then an old nicked weapon.

I don't believe I ever said the new weaponcrafting is better that the old one, in terms of stats. They should be roughly equivalent. I also specifically said weapon quality just boosts your durability, and makes it weigh less.

There was a variable issue with one of the variable tables that I thought was fixed, but it seems two items are wrong again. This might have accounted for Warhammers and maces not wielding. Fixing now, though any warhammer or mace made that does not work will need replacing. Find me and we will take care of this.

Compared to a long saber with a black hilt, a short arming-sword with a
mottled grey hilt:
+ weighs less
+ would on average cause more damage
+ strikes at about the same speed
+ cause more damage against padded armours
+ cause more damage against hardened armours
+ cause more damage against mesh armours
+ cause more damage against composite armours

This is because Poor weapon-crafting isn't better then basic-quality.

Oqual might end up being weaker then these too, until it gets revamped.

l saber
This blade is blackened and rough, showing the marks of the smith's hammer.
It is a servicable weapon fashioned from pocked bog iron, and has a blade that
is sharpened on one side and curved slightly to its tip. Shaped pieces of
solid wood have been riveted to the sides of the blade tang and wrapped in
black leather, cut into stiff strips and made from spotted, fawn hide. It
features a standard fighting blade hilt with a straight steel crossguard and a
full-tang, balancing a long blade of three to four feet, which is forged of
pocked bog iron. The weapon is capped by a simple squared metal pommel, flat
on each side, and it is ground to a sharp edge.

Actually, there might be a complete weapon revamp coming soon (in terms of damage and scaling with quality), so ... there's that to look forward to. Lots of reloading of weapons/armor ahoy!

Matt, we all knows orcs make the best weapons and armor than any other race, it might be crude in design but its built to withstand severe punishment.

How come we need to sharpen bludgeon weapons?

Bludgeons don't have edges, or only a very /very/ few have anything that's considered an edge.
