I sent one in, but I never got one of those emails that gives the ticket number or confirmed I submitted one. Is that a thing that happens, or should I generally take it to mean something went wonky and I should resubmit?

If you re-submit, please make a note that you are doing so. We don't mind the occasional double post, but do enjoy it when folks let us know.
How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
