Armor tiers

Post by WorkerDrone » Wed Jul 09, 2014 4:27 am

So this suggestion will probably fall on deaf ears, but since work on crafts is being done anyway I thought why not.

Can we get some ringmail, finally? Not quite chainmail or scalemail, but some metal is better than no metal.
I hope you die right now, will you drink my chemical?

No.

But crappy maile? Sure.

It'd be really nice for armorers that came in with metalcraft/leather/artisty to be able to make something decent. :)

I regret taking artistry. Could have taken a weapon style and be ahead of the game.

I have a craft that requires artistry..sure, you can pass without it, but still. It's there.

Further tiered armor/weapons/mobs need to be released simultaneously in patches. Keep this in mind. To release metal armor now, without more access to resourcs for better weapons and more challenging mobs, will throw off all of the work done to re-balancing.

In short, these things need to happen in big patches all together. Be patient for the sake of balance. Folks who took farming/music/handling/other-crafts just out of the gate still have nothing.
