Style skills always lag behind weapon skills somewhat. Deflect is the single most important combat skill, and takes a very long time indeed to increase.zenith wrote:Is the deflect and dual-wield skill has bug on them ? Deflect and style skills are much harder to raise than weapon skills.zenith wrote:Is the deflect and dual-wield skill has bug on them ? It seems that I raised my weapon skill to "Talented" from "Amateur" but the dual-wield and deflect still remain the same which is "Amateur".

Re: Pre-Game Bugs
Once you get to talented it seems to get a bit easier when you can spam bash or ward.

How high does one have to raise their Cooking skill before boiled greens stop tasting like dirty laundry?soiacc wrote:You eat a bite of a serving of boiled linden greens.

A gambeson weighs 20 pounds but it seems the helmets, pants, and shoes don't weigh anything.

A lot of items don't stack. Silver coins is a a specific irritation for this.
Re: Pre-Game Bugs
Support ticket them.
Next reboot will see silver coins stack.

I don't think one of my tickets in the last week has been answered, also is there a way to delete tickets that are no longer relevant?

wooden greataxes from the wooden-weapons weaponcraft subset are unable to be wielded. Anyone having problems with this?
Edit: It was being used as a light with no equip echo!

Re: Pre-Game Bugs
I figured out what this was and fixed it (on next reboot, anyway). All newly-made practice axes should be produced fine, now. If any other newly-made weapons have this bug, find a way to let me know.Justanothacivy wrote:wooden greataxes from the wooden-weapons weaponcraft subset are unable to be wielded. A sharp battleaxe with a short-hafted handle requires both hands to wield however it should be one-handed. Issuing the grip command says I cannot change my grip. However when I take the item from the harness and wield it manually it goes to one hand and cannot be gripped in two hands.

Should the old ones be junked?

Re: Pre-Game Bugs
Seems like setting a rabbit snare or squirrel snare would actually trap the creature in the same room with you as per the echo states, but instead, it just runs off, then after a few moments, you cut it loose with your knife.... though it's already gone. :/

The old SoI had 'flush' crafts instead.MarcusSaint wrote:setting a rabbit snare or squirrel snare
These new 'snare' ones should combine with the handle skill for cute, fuzzy pets. Traumatized pets.

Most underwater rooms don't display a breath meter. They still drown you, though.

Re: Pre-Game Bugs
Seems containers get way dirtier than any other items. You can't take three steps without your quiver getting encrusted with dirt, and your satchel is drenched in blood after a brief spar.
