Sparring Weapon Changes

Sparring weapons do trash-level damage now, instead of a hack we used previously (hilariously we made them set to epic econ level so we could manually edit damage values). The main reason we switched them back to trash-level after our weapon rebalancing was because people were skirting around the combat skill up requirements because the code identified PCs using real weapons instead of trash level (practice) weapons, due to our hack. Be cautious!

As an addendum, the training yard in Utterby now has a sparring arena object that facilitates RP/sparring, and also informs you when you skill up. It's a much safer alternative to sparring madly with live combat, and takes you up to Talented. Give it a shot.
