And as far as the 'in game reasons' for the fixer being moved into isolation inside the Officer's cave, the same sort of 'protection' could easily have been attained by just moving him down into the main hall or off by old sawtooth in the forge-rooms.

It's not like it's even humans eating humans, it's monsters eating humans. Which is what monsters do. On that note, how is killing humans any less worse?
And if it's a thematic issue, um... need I mention the trolls that were going to eat Bilbo, if Gandulf hadn't come around to turn them to stone? Gollum was going to eat Bilbo too.
And don't say he wasn't human. You know what I mean.
AND once more, with feeling, if you go and say it's an 'intelligence' issue, we eat Wargs. And Wargs are intelligent, and possibly playable in the near future.
So I think I covered every single point here, and most likely will still get "we won't do it"
The question, then, becomes "Why?". I know worse MUDs then SOI that allow worse things, and haven't been shut down. Allowing edible humans, isn't any different then allowing edible wargs.
And don't even hit me with rating, you can still be PG-13 with edible humans, CW manages it with Supernatural, and all the gore, and human devouring that happens in a world full of demons, and werewolves and vampires, and flesh-eating gods.
It can't be an RP issue, because the craft would only work on human corpses, which implies the person is dead, and therefore not participating in any RP.
It would also support my previous want of more bonecrafts too.
