The tree greens craft seems buggy. Most of the time I don't get the leaves of the other two trees. I even got garlic leaves once.

You realize that you could make use of this item in the following craft:
'gather tree-greens'.

You begin to pick 3 handful of elm leaves.
You continue pick 3 handful of elm leaves from the tree.

And this time carrots after I scouted a second beech tree from the copse.

You begin to pick 3 handful of wild-carrot leaves.
You continue pick 3 handful of wild-carrot leaves from the tree.
You don't see any more suitable leaves.

Third tree
gather tree-greens
You circle around a beech tree bearing fresh leaves, checking it over.
You begin to pick 3 handful of field-garlic leaves.
You continue pick 3 handful of field-garlic leaves from the tree.

The failure message for this craft says, "You don't find anymore and you realize what you thought was wild leeks isn't at all. You halt, unsuccessful."

Dunno if it's been covered, way too tired to read all six pages.

carve shortbow-grip and carve longbow-grip are having identical problems. The rods they consume are not being carried over to the finished product. I tested this with hawthorn and yew rods. It seems to be coming out random-wood. Ie: Hawthorn rod 1 turned into pale birch, Hawthorn 2 came out to creamy birch. Yew 1 turned into mixed-wood. Would have continued but timers maxed out. Might also happen with crossbow grip, will test later.

The 'roast plain-meat' seems to be broken; it loops on the first phase.

On a related note, the crude roasting spits do not seem to persist. I first assumed someone was walking off with them, but after placing one in a bag, it disappeared the next day.

The crude spit disappears as an intended feature (IE it's wood an temporary and falls apart after a while.)

This craft will use a whole block of wood no matter if that block has 1 charge or 10. Essentially, you could try your hand at making, say, 9 crossbow stocks and then turn around and use it to make 9 gills or you can just use it to make 9 gills. I think there are a few others that are the same way such as carve large-wooden-jar, and generally any of the crafts that use:

A really bad sword with a short blade lies here.

This sword hardly even a sword. It's kind of really just a piece of metal bent like a sword. Its blade is rather short. Kind of pathetic, really.

Unfortunately, that's because they are poor quality, and hardcoded as very low durability. It's not an attribute we can change without actually changing the code on the backend, with the current codebase.

Future armor and weapon expansions will include higher qualities of the hardened leather, which will offer greater protection and increased durability.
