The return of the forum
I'm just curious when the public forum might return? Considering if this mud will ever achieve over 5 active players at a time it would require the forum to open again.

We have been experiencing about 12-15 average during peak and growing new accounts and characters quite often. We had some great numbers too during the holidays, which is usually a time in which logins decrease due to said holidays. We have been operating quite well with what limited forums we have available at this time and presently do not have plans in the immediate future to reopen this particular forum. That may change as we progress.
I would suggest logging on more than once a week, different times in the day/night and lingering more than a few idling moments to get a chance of interacting with other characters and in such experience the game.

There are some play-area/clan based segments of the forums open for RPT coordination, etc. Login to see/use them.
However, we are not at present looking to return to the old open forum concept and how they seemed to be utilized.
As Rishte says, be the change you want to see. You want more people on, be one of those people. Encounter others. Hobbitmail is still going strong to get in touch with people. We are here and working along, come join us IC.
