Refilling lanterns

Post by PhocsM » Sat Nov 25, 2017 1:57 am

I'm at a loss with this one, anyone knows how to refill lanterns?
Tried pouring/filling oil but it's not working. Do they require a certain kind of oil?

refill empty-lantern

General craft. Requires candles of some sort!

There's apparently oil lanterns, as the one referenced here isn't usable in that craft. It's oil--not sure how to refill those, but I feel like the lantern craft used to be for oil lanterns, and his might be a legacy item left-over.

I'll submit a ticket and see what can be done about it

Actually, the refill empty-lantern was a craft added to the roster by Frigga a few months ago, when it was brought up that it ran out of uses and couldn't be refilled. It was made to be refilled with a candle. The -oil- lantern though, might be a leftover.

Thanks to Vorondil for looking into this, the object "a simple, wrought pitted-bog-iron lantern" seems to be a left over, just so everyone knows.

There is an object which refills it (golden oil or something like that) but I don't think it's loaded in any shops, nor does it (or the lantern) work properly.

I could go through the trouble of making it work, but I'm lazy, I'm not that interested in it, and it's much easier to use objects that actually work. If you would like a replacement or just want a room to be lit, just send in a ticket or ask me on the PP.
