Long-Blade, Cleavers, Bludgeons, and Axes?

Hrm. So it looks like you can't learn long-blade in chargen without knowing another weaponskill. Me, I don't mind this, because it makes some sense: Swords are a 'professional' weapon, and that's that. But...cleavers? Axes? These are professional weapons? There's no way to create a woodworking, tree-chopping, axe-swinging lumberjack without knowing how to use a spear or club first? Is this accurate, or am I misreading what cleavers are/what axes fall under?

Effectiveness of one's weaponry skills, attacking and defensive, with clubbed weaponry capable of dealing blunt strikes to an opponent.

Just as a note, chargen 'help files' might need to be edited in this case, then.
