I've noticed that a major complaint of late is that players are having to shell out coin all the time, to go in and out of the workshop. I had a few ideas to lessen this.
Monthly 'rent' to access the workshop in question. Instead of buying token after token, a person pays a small fee for a token that disappears after an IG month. They can then come and go.
AU Stall holders get 'clanning' access.
The Lodge takes over all trade in Utterby, and no crafter is outside of their gaze. (This would require an Eye of Sauron loaded up on top of the mill).

Re: Workshop Access
I'd like something like this to coexist with the tokens, maybe you just earn enough coin day by day and can't afford to pay the access to the whole month in advance it doesn't use it that often

Re: Workshop Access
I like the AU getting cost-free access. Makes paying those dues less angrifying.

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
